Hotmail Account or Outlook account doesn't exist
When you sign into your account and you get a message like “Microsoft account doesn't exist” as shown in the picture below:
Now the Question is why my "Microsoft Account does not exist" ?
- The error "Microsoft Account does not exist" usually means:
The person is logging in using an Alias.
If the user renamed the affected email address into a new account, the original account will become an Alias. Thus logging in using the original account (Alias) will trigger the system to prompt the user that it does not exist.
- The person mistyped the email address.
Retype the correct email address.
- The person did not access the account (WITH A BROWSER) within 365 days. The account will be deleted permanently in the system due to inactivity.
You may recreate the account as a new account if it is still available.
How Can I Fix This?
Reset your web browser and Go to the official page of Hotmail or outlook. Below Sign in you will see an option “Can’t access your account?” click on it.
After this you will get three options:
- I forgot my password
- I know my password, but can't sign in
- I think someone else is using my Microsoft account
Then you will get a page like shown in the image below.
Type your email and the special character and then click on next.
Now you will get the recovery options with the help of which you can get your account back.
